SB 2251  RELATING TO TORT LIABILITY                 ECD, JDC
        Limits liability for government landowners of Haiku
        stairs; amends definition of "land".

SB 2911  RELATING TO THE BOATING SPECIAL FUND       ECD, WAM
        Clarifies that the assessment from the Boating Special
        Fund due to the General fund for central services
        expenses shall be limited to five per cent of revenues
        net of debt service.

SB 2910  RELATING TO THE COMMERCIAL FISHERIES       ECD, WAM
        SPECIAL FUND
        Converts the designation of the commercial Fisheries
        Special Fund from temporary to permanent duration to
        ensure continued support and funding for commercial
        fisheries programs and activities.

SB 2167  MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PURCHASE        ECD, WAM
        PROPERTY AT PUNALU'U BEACH IN KA'U 
        IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII TO ESTABLISH 
        A STATE PARK
        Appropriates general revenues to purchase property at
        Punalu'u Beach in Ka'u to establish a state park to
        protect turtle nesting grounds and the area's
        ecosystem.

SB 3005  MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE            ECD, WAM
        AQUACULTURE DISEASE PREVENTION PROGRAM
        Appropriates funds for the aquaculture disease
        prevention program.

SB 2909  RELATING TO STATE PARKS                    ECD, WAM
        Replaces the Aina Hoomalu Special Fund with the State
        Parks Special Fund to carry out new program
        objectives.

islands), at least 24 hours prior to the hearing.  When faxing,
please indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the
date and time of the hearing, and the required number of copies
needed for submittal.

If you require special assistance or auxiliary aids or services
to participate in the public hearing process (i.e., sign language
interpreter, wheelchair accessibility, or parking designated for
the disabled), please contact the committee clerk 24 hours prior
to the hearing so arrangements can be made.
